Minoru Hirota is a Japanese voice actor, narrator, and DJ, born on February 1, 1971, in Hiroshima Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Office-TB. Hirota stands 180 cm tall and has blood type O.
Hirota's path to the entertainment industry began during his student years at Hiroshima Shudo University, where he studied management. A radio appearance with friends, who had enticed him with the rumor of a celebrity guest, sparked his interest in a performing career. He started as a DJ and narrator in his native Hiroshima, becoming a regular on local television and radio. From 1995 to 1999, he served as the first-ever stadium DJ for the professional soccer team Sanfrecce Hiroshima. In 2005, Hirota relocated to Tokyo to broaden his career opportunities.
As a voice actor, Hirota is known for his deep voice and versatility, capable of portraying a wide range of characters, from tough individuals and villains to comedic and fatherly figures.
