Makoto Kaneko is a Japanese voice actor and actor from Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, who is active in the industry. Born on October 25th, he is affiliated with the talent agency Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, also known as Haikyo. He began his professional career in 2014 after graduating from the Haikyo Voice Actors Studio in 2013. His voice is characterized as a high baritone.

Kaneko has built a prolific career with a wide range of anime television roles. His early work includes a part in the 2017 series Tsukigakirei. He has consistently taken on roles in major franchises, contributing to titles such as Detective Conan, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, and The Prince of Tennis. In 2019, he voiced the character Siegfried Marquez in the series Wise Man's Grandchild. His role as Timothee Moreau is part of The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup, a franchise he has been involved with in various capacities, including providing voice work for its 2024 installment, U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL. In 2023, he was the voice of Shizuo "Otome" Barato in Kawagoe Boys Sing and Hayate in Shinobanai! CryptoNinja Sakuya, a role he has reprised in subsequent iterations of the series. His film credits include a part in the 2022 feature Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween.
