He is affiliated with the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, often shortened to Haikyo. Tsuda began his career in theater, joining the Toen Theatre group in 1971, before transitioning into voice acting and founding his own theatrical planning and production company, Native Planning, in 2001. He is known for his baritone voice, which he has lent to a wide array of authoritative and paternal figures across anime, video games, and dubbed foreign media.
