Kaya Okuno
Description
Kaya Okuno is a Japanese voice actor and singer born on March 1, 1991, in Iwate Prefecture. She is affiliated with the agency 81 Produce. Her career began after she successfully passed the second Wake Up, Girls! AUDITION, a joint audition held by avex and 81 Produce in September 2012. She was selected from over 2,000 applicants and subsequently became a sub-leader of the voice actor unit Wake Up, Girls! in 2013. She made her voice acting debut in January 2014, voicing the character Kaya Kikuma in the film Wake Up, Girls! The Movie and the subsequent television anime series Wake Up, Girls!.
Okuno has portrayed a variety of characters across different anime series. She is known for her role as Filimøs Harrifenas, also known as Kanami Okazaki or Oka-chan-sensei, in the 2021 series So I'm a Spider, So What?. In the 2022 anime adaptation of the game Girls' Frontline, she provided the voice for the character Scarecrow. Her other notable roles include Kotone Amakusa in Cinderella Nine, Kaya Kikuma in the Wake Up, Girls! franchise, including the Wake Up, Girl Zoo! shorts, and Hacka Doll #2 in Hacka Doll the Animation. Her filmography also features Yaya Sasame in Hanayamata, Karen Kisaragi in Hundred, Tama in Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, and Petra Mille Hubarek in Sweet Reincarnation.
