Dário de Castro is a Brazilian voice actor recognized for his extensive contributions to the dubbing of anime and animated series into Portuguese. He began his career in the 1980s and has since become a notable figure in the Brazilian dubbing industry, known for his versatile vocal range that suits both heroic protagonists and authoritative characters. De Castro has voiced numerous roles across various anime series and films, often working with major dubbing studios such as Herbert Richers, Álamo, and Delart.

Among his prominent anime voice roles, de Castro is widely known for portraying Hikaru Ichijyo in the Brazilian Portuguese dub of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, a character that has garnered recognition among anime fans. He also voiced Yamazaki in Babel II, Espectro in Cyborg 009 The Cyborg Soldier, and Mark Venture in Star Blazers: The Bolar Wars. In the anime film Magnetic Rose, part of the Memories anthology, he provided the voice for Heinz.
