Marick Dacanay is a Filipino voice actress known for her work in Tagalog dubs of various anime series and films. Born Maria Kristiane Dacanay on December 8, 1989, in the Philippines, she has built a career lending her voice to a wide array of characters. Her filmography includes several prominent roles, such as voicing the titular character Chaika Travant in the anime series Chaika - The Coffin Princess and its sequel, Chaika - The Coffin Princess Avenging Battle. She also portrayed Nazuna Oikawa in the film Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom?. Among her other notable credits in Tagalog-dubbed anime are the iconic role of Sakura Kinomoto in Cardcaptor Sakura and its sequel Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, Alice Nakiri and Megumi Tadokoro in different dubs of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, and Mari Ohara and Ruby Kurosawa in Love Live! Sunshine!!. Her repertoire also includes the roles of Kluke in Blue Dragon, Lou Lupus in Final Fantasy: Unlimited, Miyano in Tanaka-kun is Always Listless, and Kiriko Shikishima in Ultimate Otaku Teacher. Beyond anime, Dacanay's voice work extends to English dubs of other media, such as providing the voice for multiple incarnations of Amy Rose in Sonic Prime and for Petty in the children's series Pororo the Little Penguin. She has also been credited for additional voices in the Filipino-language dub of the Hong Kong film Zero to Hero.
