TV-Series
Description
Kluke is a young girl from Talta Village and the childhood friend of Shu. She lost her parents to a Land Shark prior to the start of the series, an event that instilled in her a fierce protective instinct. She is intelligent and displays a strong aptitude for machinery and ancient technology, in addition to possessing medical knowledge passed down from her parents. Kluke presents a mature and gentle temperament, but she has a short temper and is not afraid to scold Shu for his impulsive behavior. Despite this, she is profoundly kind-hearted, brave, and deeply devoted to her friends, frequently acting as the voice of reason within the group.
Her primary motivation is to protect Shu and her other companions, a promise that drives her to join the journey from the very beginning. She serves as the emotional anchor of the team, providing unwavering support and encouragement. Kluke's personal development centers on finding her own strength beyond being a caretaker. After a serious injury causes her to temporarily lose her connection to her Shadow, she confronts her feelings of inadequacy and resolves to become a fighter capable of standing alongside her friends, not just behind them.
Her most important relationship is with Shu, for whom she harbors deep romantic feelings, a situation that creates a rivalry with Bouquet. She also shares a strong bond with Jiro, completing their trio from Talta Village, and treats the hyperactive Marumaro like a younger brother. Kluke wields the Shadow Phoenix, which initially grants her powerful healing and defensive barrier magic, as well as the ability to teleport. As she develops her resolve, she learns to harness the Phoenix's offensive fire-based capabilities, proving herself a formidable combatant. Her technical skills also prove vital for the group, allowing her to repair and operate complex machinery.
