Shingo Tsurumi is a Japanese actor born on December 29, 1964 in Tokyo, Japan. While he is primarily known as a live-action screen and television actor, his career has included voice acting for anime and the Japanese dub of foreign productions. He is affiliated with the talent agency Horipro.

Tsurumi has been active in the entertainment industry since 1977. One of his notable early roles was in the long-running television series Kinpachi-sensei. His filmography includes appearances in a wide range of movies, such as Typhoon Club, Gonin, and Dead or Alive. He is also known for his work in the Kamen Rider franchise, appearing in Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie: Everyone, Space Is Here! and Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO: Movie War Mega Max.

In the realm of voice acting, Tsurumi provided the Japanese dub voice for the character Cao Cao in the Japanese broadcast of the Chinese historical television series Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Within anime, he voiced Tokugawa Ieyasu in the historical series Hyouge Mono, which aired from 2011 to 2012.

Beyond anime, Tsurumi has appeared in numerous live-action film and television roles. He took on the role of the character Hakaider (also known as Professor Gilbert Kanzaki) in the 2014 tokusatsu superhero film Kikaider REBOOT. He played the role of Yajima, the Joint Staff Deputy, in the 2016 kaiju film Shin Godzilla. In the live-action film adaptation of the manga Rurouni Kenshin, he portrayed Chief Uramura in The Final chapter released in 2021. His film work also includes the role of Mitsuru Fukuda in the 1998 crime comedy Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl and the role of Kimihiko Nikaido in the 2008 film L change the WorLd, a spin-off of the Death Note series.
