Catherine Conet is a Belgian actress and voice artist, professionally active since the early 1990s. Born on April 19, 1968, in Louvain, Belgium, she received her formal training at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she earned a First Prize in Dramatic Art in 1991. Her career began in classical theatre, performing the works of playwrights such as Racine, Anouilh, and Dumas at notable Belgian venues including the Comédie Volter, Théâtre royal du Parc, and the Rideau de Bruxelles. She was also a participant in the Belgian Improvisation League until 1994.

While Conet has maintained a steady career on stage, she is most widely recognized for her extensive work in voice acting, lending her voice to numerous animated series and films for the European French market. Her most prominent and long-standing role is that of the Team Rocket member Jessie in the Pokémon franchise. She has voiced the character in the main animated series, including Pokémon, Pokémon Advanced, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Pokémon Black and White, Pokémon XY, and Pokémon Sun & Moon. Her film work in the franchise is equally extensive, covering the majority of the theatrical releases. Her credits as Jessie include Pokémon: The First Movie, Pokémon: The Movie 2000, Pokémon 3: The Movie, Pokémon Heroes, Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, The Rise of Darkrai, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Arceus and the Jewel of Life, Zoroark: Master of Illusions, Pokémon the Movie: Black & White, Genesect and the Legend Awakened, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution, and The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon. This continuity was interrupted only for a few films that were licensed and dubbed by different studios in France. In addition to Jessie, she also provided the voice for Ash's mother, Delia Ketchum, during the first five seasons of the series.

Beyond Pokémon, Conet has voiced characters in other major animated productions. She is the voice of Griffin in the Winx Club series and Miss Gazelle in Peppa Pig. In the Marvel animated universe, she has voiced Ororo Munroe / Storm in Wolverine and the X-Men and Madame Hydra in X-Men: Evolution. Her work also includes roles in anime and video game adaptations. Notably, she voiced Nakoruru and Amakuza in Samurai Shodown: The Motion Picture, King in Art of Fighting, Cammy in Street Fighter II V, and Sulia in Fatal Fury 3. Other film credits include the role of Eiko Shimao in Millennium Actress and Nefertiti in the animated feature La Reine Soleil. Her discography is completed by extensive work as a voice on Belgian radio stations, including Nostalgie, and she performed the French-language version of the Pokémon theme song, Nous sommes de retour, for the series' first season.
