Hiroyuki Sato is a Japanese voice actor known for his work across anime, video games, and dubbed foreign media. He is also credited under his current legal name, Yuki Sato, having used Hiroyuki Sato as a stage name for many of his prominent early roles. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production and has been active in the voice acting industry since the mid-1980s. His educational background includes attendance at Tokai University.

Sato's career encompasses a wide range of supporting and leading roles in various anime series from the late 1980s onward. In the Transformers franchise, he had a notable presence in the 1989 series Transformers: Victory, where he provided the voices for multiple characters, including the Autobots Drillhorn and Machtackle, as well as the Decepticon Gairyu. His work in this franchise also extended to other series in the continuity, such as Transformers: The Headmasters. In the early 1990s, he began a long-running role as Motoki Furuhata, the kind-hearted employee of the Game Center Crown arcade, in the Sailor Moon series, a role he voiced from 1992 through 1996.

Throughout the 1990s, Sato appeared in several feature films and OVA series. He played the role of Kane Song in the 1991 film Mobile Suit Gundam F91 and took on the role of Sanders in the epic space opera Legend of the Galactic Heroes. In 1993, he voiced Hironari Komiyama in the delinquent-themed series Rokudenashi Blues. Later in the decade, he played Tony Frost, a powerful member of the Sleeper Brigade, in the science fiction horror series Blue Gender, which aired from 1999 to 2000. His other anime credits from this period include roles in Aoki Densetsu Shoot!, Romeo's Blue Skies, Dragon Ball GT, and Captain Tsubasa J.

Sato has also performed voice work for video games, most notably providing the voice for Alba Meira in the KOF: Maximum Impact series. Additionally, he has an extensive career in overseas dubbing for Japanese audiences. He was a regular voice actor for the Japanese dub of the children's series Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends across several seasons, providing voices for characters such as the Scottish twin engine Donald, the diesel engine 'Arry, and the helicopter Harold. He also contributed voice work to the Ultraman Cosmos tokusatsu series.
