Sōta Fukushi
Description
Sota Fukushi is primarily recognized as a live-action Japanese actor rather than an anime voice actor. His career began in 2011, and he rose to fame playing Gentaro Kisaragi in the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Fourze. From this starting point, he transitioned to leading roles in numerous live-action films and television dramas, such as the romance film Say I Love You, the horror film As the Gods Will, and the live-action adaptation of Bleach, where he played Ichigo Kurosaki.
While his work is overwhelmingly in live-action, Fukushi has a limited number of credits that involve voice performance. He has occasionally provided character voices for projects related to the Kamen Rider franchise, such as in the 2013 film Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z, where he voiced his character Gentaro Kisaragi. Another notable voice role is his guest appearance in the long-running anime series Detective Conan. In the 2014 film Detective Conan: Dimensional Sniper, he voiced the character Kevin Yoshino, a former U.S. Marine sergeant.
Outside of these specific instances, his filmography does not demonstrate a focus on voice acting for anime. His roles in series such as Library Wars, Blade of the Immortal, and Say I love you are live-action performances, not voice work for animated productions. Therefore, while he has taken on a few voice roles, Sota Fukushi is not an anime voice actor by profession but rather a mainstream live-action actor who has made occasional forays into voice performance.
