Satomi Hanamura is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on July 3, 1984, in Tokyo, Japan. She is associated with the talent agency AT Production. Her career in entertainment began in her childhood, initially driven by a passion for musicals, which led to her appearance in stage productions and her film debut in the early 1990s. She gained early recognition for her live-action role as Yuka Nakagawa in the 2000 film Battle Royale.
Hanamura transitioned to voice acting during high school after successfully auditioning for an anime role. Her voice acting debut came in 2002 as the protagonist Elle in the original video animation Happy World!.
