Dawn M. Bennett is an American voice actress based in Dallas, Texas, who has built an extensive career voicing characters in English dubs of anime, video games, and animated series since beginning her career in 2011. She is affiliated with major dubbing studios including Crunchyroll (formerly Funimation), Bang Zoom! Entertainment, and Sound Cadence Studios.
Bennett began voice acting during her freshman year at the Berklee College of Music after participating in an event for the school's Video Game Music Club, where she tried voiceover and was encouraged to continue. She shifted her focus from music to voice acting and volunteered for student projects throughout college. Her first professional role with Funimation was announced in August 2014, when she joined the English dub cast of Fairy Tail as the character Frosch.
Among her numerous anime credits, Bennett has voiced several notable characters. She plays Akino Yugiri in the romantic comedy anime series Engage Kiss, which aired in 2022. In The Slime Diaries, a spin-off of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, she voices the character Shizu. She provides the voice of LA Hire in the English version of Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Alchemist Knight. In the horror-comedy idol series Zombie Land Saga, Bennett voices Tae Yamada, the mysterious zombie member of the group Franchouchou who communicates primarily through groans. She also voices Selma Livens in the 2022 animated film Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island.
