Yuto Kazama is a Japanese voice actor born on September 30, 1970, in Tokyo, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Aksent. Kazama began his voice acting career in 1999.
Kazama is most widely recognized for his leading role as Yamato Ishida in the Digimon Adventure franchise. He first voiced the character in the original Digimon Adventure series in 1999 and continued the role in Digimon Adventure 02, as well as several associated films. In addition to Yamato, he has voiced other characters in the franchise, including MetalSeadramon and Gazimon.
Beyond his iconic role in Digimon, Kazama has built a diverse career with many other notable anime appearances. He played Noboru Yamaguchi in the comedy series Cromartie High School and Souichi Aida, an editorial team leader, in Bakuman. 2 and Bakuman. 3. His other television anime roles include Kenji Gen in Gunparade Orchestra, Saku Ezomori in Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox, Matsu in Examurai Sengoku, and Hideyuki Okakura in Buso Renkin. He has also voiced characters in the LINE franchise, including James in Line Town and Section Chief James in Line Offline Salaryman.
