David A. Kaye

David A. Kaye is a Canadian actor and voice actor born on August 4, 1988, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. His family moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he began his career in entertainment. His first film appearance was a small role in the Academy Award-winning film Legends of the Fall. Kaye transitioned into voice acting in 2001, providing the voice for the title character in over 100 episodes of the children's series Make Way for Noddy.
In the anime voice acting field, Kaye has built a substantial body of work, particularly in English dubs of popular series produced in Vancouver, where much of the Canadian anime dubbing industry is based. He is known for his role as Yosuke Yoneya, a skilled and laid-back Attacker from the Tamakoma branch, in the series World Trigger. In the same series, he also voices the character Mitsuru Tokieda, a strategic member of the Tamakoma branch. Another of his prominent roles is Shinichi "Shin" Okazaki, a young member of the fictional band BLAST, in the romantic drama series NANA.
Kaye's other notable anime credits include the role of Saku in Hayao Miyazaki's classic post-apocalyptic series Future Boy Conan, Ken Ogami in B-Daman Fireblast, and Lichtendahl Tsery in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. He has also performed roles in Gintama°, InuYasha: The Final Act, and Beyblade Burst.
Beyond his voice work, Kaye attended the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting in 2011. He is also a producer, having started his own film production company, Whiskaye Films.
