Kaihiamal Martínez, also known as Kai Martínez, is a Venezuelan actor, dubbing director, and Foley artist born on February 19, 1974, in Caracas, Venezuela. He began his career in voice dubbing in 1994 after graduating from the Escuela de Teatro Porfirio Rodríguez. He has been active professionally in dubbing, theater, and commercial voice-over work. Since 2007, he has resided in Mexico, where he continues to work extensively in the dubbing industry. He is also the owner of his own sound design company, K&K Sound and Effects Design.

Martínez began his voice acting career in Venezuela, where he became known as the first voice actor to dub the character SpongeBob SquarePants in the Latin American Spanish dub of the series. He voiced the character throughout the first season. He left the role following a dispute with the Etcétera Group studio over salary and his intention to form a union with fellow actors, leading to his dismissal. The role was subsequently taken over by Luis Carreño from the second season onward. Other notable early roles in Venezuela included Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond, Steve in Blue's Clues, and Alexander Anderson in Hellsing.

Following his move to Mexico, Martínez has voiced numerous characters in anime series produced there. Among his significant anime roles are Hypnos in Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Ulquiorra Cifer in Bleach, for which he received a nomination for a Bravo Award, and Minos of Griffin in the DVD version of Saint Seiya: The Hades Inferno. He is also known for voicing Sotetsu Asō in Zombie-Loan, Naoki Irie in ItaKiss, Mitsukata in Eternity: Shinya no Nurekoi Channel, and Yoshio Ootori in Ouran High School Host Club.

His extensive filmography within Latin American Spanish dubbing includes a wide range of supporting roles in animation and live-action series, as well as video games. He has served as the recurring voice for actor Brian Tee as Dr. Ethan Choi in the Chicago franchise series. Martínez has also participated in dubbing for film, including voicing the title character in a cameo appearance for the movie Ted.

Beyond performance, Martínez works as a dubbing director. He directed and performed voices for a Mexican stage production titled SpongeBob SquarePants: The Sponge Who Could Fly.
