Vivian Magos

Description
Vivian Magos is a Mexican voice actress known for her work in the Latin American Spanish dubbing industry, particularly in animated series and films. Her career in voice acting includes contributions to several prominent anime titles, where she has brought a range of characters to life.

In the realm of anime, Magos is recognized for portraying Himiko in the OVA series Mazinkaiser SKL. This three-episode mecha series, which is a spin-off of the classic Mazinger Z franchise, was dubbed into Latin Spanish and released on the streaming service Anime Onegai in October 2021. Within the story, Himiko is an assistant to the warlord Garan and possesses psychic abilities, including telepathy. Magos voiced this character as part of an ensemble cast that included other Mexican dubbing actors such as Ernesto Mascarúa and Daniel del Roble.

Another significant role in Magos’s career is that of Misato Katsuragi in the film Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, which is the third film in the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy. She provided the voice for this iconic character in the original Mexican Spanish dubbing of this particular film, which was released in 2012. Misato Katsuragi is a central figure in the Evangelion franchise, serving as the operations director for the paramilitary organization NERV and the guardian of the protagonist, Shinji Ikari. Vivian Magos took on this role at a time when several actresses have voiced Misato in different Latin Spanish versions of the Evangelion series and films.

Beyond these two notable roles, Magos has also lent her voice to other anime projects. Her work includes a role in the anime series Los Caballeros del Zodiaco Omega, where she voiced the character Bartschius de Jirafa. She also provided additional voices for the Netflix re-dub of the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series, listed as Renewal of Evangelion. Her voice acting credits extend to the anime-influenced series Cannon Busters, where she played the mother of the character Philly.
