Courtney Shaw is a classically trained actress, singer, and voice actor based in the United States. Born and raised in New Britain, Connecticut, she began acting in regional theatre as a child and studied at The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts before moving to New York City to complete the conservatory program at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. Her background in theatre includes performing in numerous Off-Broadway plays and musicals. She is a member of the Animus Theatre Company, through which she has worked on stage with actors such as Alexis Bledel under the direction of Leslye Headland.

In anime and animation dubbing, Shaw has accumulated a diverse range of credits. She provides the English voice for Manatsu Kogarashi in the series Maesetsu! Opening Act. She is also the English voice for the dual role of Liz and the Blue Girl in the film Liz and the Blue Bird. Her other notable anime credits include Charlotte in Fena: Pirate Princess, Lisa in Mazinger Z: Infinity, Balt in Show By Rock!! Stars!!, a student in Children of the Sea, and multiple roles in number24.

Beyond these anime roles, Shaw's voice work spans a wide variety of animation, video games, and audiobooks. She voices Sasha in the Netflix series Mermaid Magic, Gretel in the Netflix film Secret Magic Control Agency, Whirl in Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy, and Princess Norma and Ida in Nickelodeon's Nella the Princess Knight. Her video game credits include Nurah Dendiwhar in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and she narrates the audiobook versions of the Toradora! and I'm in Love with the Villainess light novel series. She also plays the role of Flip in the musical podcast Flip and Mozi's Guide to How to Be an Earthling.
