Emmanuel Liénart was a Belgian actor and voice actor, born on June 23, 1954, in Forest, Brussels, Belgium. He passed away on December 1, 2015, in Brussels. Beyond his voice work, he was also an active artistic director for French-language dubs of numerous anime series.

Liénart had a prolific career in animation dubbing, lending his voice to a wide array of characters across many popular series. He was the French voice of several iconic detectives, most notably providing the voices for both Inspector Megure and Kogoro Mouri in Detective Conan. His versatility extended to antagonistic and mentor figures as well, including the role of Docteur Faker in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II and the character Yasu in NANA. Other significant roles included Zoltan in Street Fighter II V, George Firewill and Godric Wyles in Inazuma Eleven, Professor in Doraemon, Kōzō Hoshino in Initial D: Fourth Stage, and Oonoki (the Third Tsuchikage) in Naruto Shippūden. In the French dub of One Piece, he voiced a variety of characters, including Gold Roger in the new dub.

His work as a dubbing director was equally extensive. He served as ADR or dubbing director for several series, including One Piece, Magic Knight Rayearth, Naruto, and IGPX: Immortal Grand Prix. Over the course of his career, he became a familiar and respected voice in the French anime community, recognized for his contributions both in front of the microphone and in the director's chair.
