James Reed Faulkner

James Reed Faulkner is an actor recognized for his work providing English voice dubbing for anime productions. He is distinct from the British actor of the same name, with a career primarily based in the United States, including residences in Dayton, Ohio, and Houston, Texas.

Faulkner began working in the voice acting industry around 2004, notably starting at the production company A.D. Vision. His filmography primarily consists of supporting roles in a variety of anime series released in the early to mid-2000s.

One of his most frequently cited roles is that of Belfangan Clouseau in the Full Metal Panic! franchise. He voiced this character, a skilled Arm Slave pilot and mercenary who leads the special response team Mithril under the call sign Urzu 1, in multiple installments. These include Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, the Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid original video animation, and Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory. Faulkner also voiced a different character, Bryant, in the original Full Metal Panic! television series.

Beyond the Full Metal Panic! series, Faulkner's anime voice credits include a range of other productions. He is known for the role of Noboru Yamaguchi in the comedy series Cromartie High School. His other work includes voicing Jean-Patrick Shapplin in RahXephon, Helmer in Xenosaga: The Animation, Big Greenonion in Gantz, and Viscount Borzo in Chrono Crusade. He also provided voices for series such as Kino's Journey, Kaleido Star, Noir, Najica Blitz Tactics, and Parasite Dolls, as well as the movie Slayers Premium and the American anime-influenced film Lady Death.

In addition to his anime roles, Faulkner has performed voiceover work for the Anime Network and lent his voice to the character of an ONI Officer in the Halo Legends short "The Babysitter". His skills also extended to work as a former drama coach and teacher.
