Valin Shinyei

Valin Shinyei is a Canadian actor born on May 12, 2001, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He began his career in the entertainment industry at a young age, starting with commercial work at age six before transitioning into film and television. His early work included appearances in live-action television films and series during the late 2000s and early 2010s, with roles in productions such as Mrs. Miracle, A Christmas Story 2, and This Means War.

In the field of voice acting, Shinyei is recognized for his work on English-language dubs of anime series. He provides the voice for Cuza Ackermann in the anime series Beyblade Burst God, which is known in English as Beyblade Burst Evolution. In this series, he voices the character of Cuza Ackermann, a role for which he also provides the voice of the character's bird companion, Carl. Another significant anime voice role for Shinyei is that of Yuzuru Ema in the English dub of World Trigger. He appears in this role in episodes of the series, which began airing in 2016.

Beyond his anime work, Shinyei has taken on other voice acting projects. He is the American voice of the title character in Noddy, Toyland Detective and also voices the character TD on the series Martha Speaks. More recently, he has provided the voice for the character Leo in the series Lego Friends: The Next Chapter: New Beginnings.

Shinyei has a background in stage performance as well, with acting, dancing, and singing noted as his passions. He has performed in musical theatre productions, including playing the role of Michael in Billy Elliot the Musical and portraying Ralphie in the musical version of A Christmas Story at the Vancouver Arts Club. He also had a live performance role during the closing ceremonies of the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Whistler, British Columbia. In addition to his stage and voice work, he has served as a speaker and host for special events and has danced on stage at Disneyland.
