Steven Brand is a Scottish actor born on June 26, 1969, who has built a substantial career in both live-action and voice-over work. While he made his American film debut as the villain Memnon in The Scorpion King (2002) opposite Dwayne Johnson, he is widely recognized in the anime community for his voice roles in the Hellsing franchise.

Brand is best known as the English voice of the fierce and devout Iscariot priest Alexander Anderson. He first portrayed the character in the original Hellsing anime series from 2001 to 2002. He later reprised the role for the more faithful OVA adaptation, Hellsing Ultimate, which was released from 2006 to 2011. In addition to Anderson, Brand also provided the voice for the character Richard Hellsing in both series.

Beyond his anime voice work, Brand has extensive experience in live-action television, with guest and recurring roles in numerous series, including CSI: Miami, NCIS, Castle, and a notable performance as Dr. Gabriel Valack on Teen Wolf. For his role on Teen Wolf, he received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Guest Starring Role on Television in 2015. Brand has also worked extensively as an audiobook narrator, having recorded over fifty titles, and has contributed voice work to video games such as Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Order: 1886, and Call of Duty: Vanguard.
