Manfred Liptow is a German actor, voice actor, and audio play performer born in 1948. He completed his acting training in Hamburg between 1963 and 1965, a city where he continues to reside and work. His career spans several decades and includes on-screen appearances in German productions such as Tatort and Großstadtrevier, but he is most recognized for his extensive voice work in dubbing and audio dramas.

In the realm of anime, Liptow is known for lending his voice to supporting characters in major series and films. He voices the character Cain Barzad in the German dub of the fantasy series The Seven Deadly Sins. His performance as Cain, a Holy Knight of the Kingdom of Liones, can be heard across several episodes of the first and second seasons of the show. Another notable anime role is Kahiko in the film Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel. Kahiko is an elder leader of a wandering caravan who holds crucial knowledge about the film's central artifact, the Stone of Gelel.

Beyond these prominent roles, Liptow has contributed to other anime productions as well. His voice can be heard in series such as Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and Gintama, as well as in films like Gintama: The Movie 2.
