Parisa Fakhri
Description
Parisa Fakhri is an Iranian-American voice actress and on-screen actress known for her work with the Funimation dubbing studio in Texas. Her career in anime voice acting includes several prominent roles in early 2000s English dubs. Fakhri is best recognized as the voice of Arisa Uotani, one of Tohru Honda's closest friends, in the 2001 adaptation of the series Fruits Basket. In the world of martial arts anime, she provided the voice for Bulla, the daughter of Vegeta and Bulma, in the series Dragon Ball GT. Her other anime voice credits include the role of Rita Verruccio in Kiddy Grade and Elisa in Fullmetal Alchemist. Beyond anime, her voice acting work extends to video games, where she voiced the character Troy in the game Dying Light. Fakhri has also built a substantial career as a live-action television actress, with guest appearances on series such as House, CSI: NY, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as a recurring role as Marwa in the television series What We Do in the Shadows.
