Mami Higashiyama is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer-songwriter born on June 11, 1977, in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. She began her entertainment career in the mid-1990s, gaining initial recognition for her live-action role as Miku Imamura, also known as Mega Pink, in the 1997 Super Sentai series Denji Sentai Megaranger. This role marked the beginning of her public career and established her as a performer in the tokusatsu genre.

Her transition to voice acting in animation is highlighted by her leading role in the 2001 television series Earth Maiden Arjuna. In this environmentally themed anime produced by Bandai Visual and Satelight, she provided the voice of the protagonist, Juna Ariyoshi, a high school girl who becomes the avatar of time to protect a dying Earth. The role of Arjuna remains one of her most significant contributions to anime voice work.

Other notable voice roles include Mika Murakami in the racing anime Wangan Midnight, a part she performed in episodes sixteen through nineteen of the series. Her anime filmography also includes a role as Ninai in the historical fantasy series Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi from 2006, and as Hibiki Shijou in the horror action series Shikabane Hime: Kuro in 2009.
