Florian Halm is a German voice actor and actor with a career spanning several decades, known for providing the German voice for a wide array of characters in film and television, including numerous anime series. He was born on January 3, 1964, in Munich. Halm began his voice acting career at a very young age; as a nine-year-old in 1973, he voiced the character Jim Knopf in a radio play series. During the same period, he was also involved in radio plays for the Pumuckl series.
One of his earliest and most iconic roles in animation was providing the German voice for the title character in the anime series Wickie and the Strong Men, a role he performed for both the television series and related radio plays in the mid-1970s.
