Kana Yūki is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on March 10, 1987, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She has been active in the industry since 2010 and is affiliated with the talent agency VIMS.
Yūki's aspiration to become a voice actor began in her childhood. She wrote her dream of becoming a voice actor in her elementary school graduation album. After high school, she initially auditioned for voice acting but was told it would be very challenging. She entered the workforce for a time before deciding to pursue her goal in earnest, enrolling in the Japan Narration Acting Institute, where she trained for four years.
Her career gained momentum with her first major role as Rinslet Laurenfrost in the 2014 anime series Blade Dance of Elementalers. The role that significantly raised her profile came in 2017 when she was cast as Noelle Silva in the long-running series Black Clover. Her performance as the strong-willed mage of the Black Bulls became one of her most recognized and enduring roles, continuing through various films and specials related to the franchise.
In 2018, Yūki landed her first starring role as the lead character, Haruka Oozora, in the beach volleyball anime Harukana Receive. That same year, she also made her debut as a singer with the single Kana Note. Her versatility as a voice actress is evident in the wide range of characters she portrays. She voices Super Creek in the immensely popular multimedia franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby. Her other notable roles include Risa Kashiwagi in Brynhildr in the Darkness, Yukikaze and Yorktown in the Azur Lane anime adaptations, Sumika Maehara in Extreme Hearts, Asahi Ouka in Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!, Fruitalia Eldriel in Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time Super Extra, Lily in The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids, and as the Narrator for Bananya and the Curious Bunch.
