Patrick Mölleken is a German actor and voice artist born on September 27, 1993, near Düsseldorf. His career in performance began at the age of five with stage appearances, and he started working in voice-over for a radio commercial at the age of ten. His voice acting work encompasses dubbing for films and series, as well as narration for audio books and radio dramas.
Mölleken has been active as a voice actor since at least 2003. His early work in animation included voicing the ape Pong in the 2007 animated series Kleiner Dodo. In the realm of Japanese anime, he has provided the German voice for several characters. He is the German voice of Hanta Sero, also known as the hero Cellophane, in the series My Hero Academia, the film My Hero Academia the Movie: Heroes Rising, and the later film My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission. Beyond this franchise, his other anime dubbing roles include characters in the films Summer Wars and Bleach: Memories of Nobody, as well as the series Blue Exorcist and Samurai Flamenco. He also voiced the character Shinobu Ijuuin in the film Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1.
In addition to his voice work for animated productions, Mölleken has an extensive career as a narrator. He has voiced characters in numerous radio dramas and audio books. In 2010, he received the German Audio Book Prize, the Deutscher Hörbuchpreis, for his work on the production Wie man unsterblich wird – Jede Minute zählt, based on the novel Ways to Live Forever. The following year, he was part of the cast for the SWR2 audio book of Isabel Allende's Das Geisterhaus, which also won the Deutscher Hörbuchpreis.
