Vlad Chiriac is a German actor and voice artist known for his work in dubbing, particularly for providing the German voice for characters in anime and international productions. Born in Bucharest, Romania, on January 10, 1979, he moved to Germany with his family in 1981 and was raised in Bietigheim-Bissingen. His path to acting began in childhood with school theater, eventually leading him to study at the Schauspielschule Charlottenburg in Berlin from 2002 to 2005. Following his graduation, Chiriac established a career on stage, performing with various theater companies in Berlin and beyond, while also taking on roles in German film and television productions.
Since approximately 2015, Chiriac has become increasingly active in the field of voice acting, lending his voice to numerous characters in film, television, and video games. He is recognized for his vocal work in anime and animated series. Among his most prominent roles is the character Hawks, also known as Keigo Takami, from the popular anime franchise My Hero Academia. He has voiced this role across multiple installments, including the films My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. He also provided the German voice for the character The Gladiator in the 2021 Netflix anime series Super Crooks.
