Rio Suzuki is a Japanese actress and voice actor born on February 10, 2005, in Saitama Prefecture. She began her entertainment career at the age of five as a child actress and is affiliated with the talent agency JobbyKids Production. Her entry into voice acting expanded her portfolio, allowing her to take on a variety of roles in animated films and television series.
Suzuki's debut in anime voice work came in 2018 when she voiced the character Kanino in the animated film Modest Heroes. This film is an anthology of three short stories produced by Studio Ponoc, with Suzuki providing the voice for one of the two young crab siblings in the Kanini & Kanino segment. The following year, in 2019, she took on a significant lead role as the titular character Dororo in the anime television series Dororo, a remake of the classic 1960s series. This performance marked a notable achievement in her career as an anime voice actor.
Suzuki has also become a recurring voice in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchise. She voiced the character Mimi Atachi in Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, which aired from 2020 to 2022.
