Eight years have passed since the heroes of U.A. High School’s Class 1-A defeated the villains All For One and Tomura Shigaraki, bringing an end to the long war that threatened society. Now living as adult professional heroes, the former classmates have each carved their own paths in a world that has finally found a stable peace. The special episode, titled More, serves as an epilogue to the main storyline, adapting the final chapter of Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga that was included with the series’ last volume.

The story unfolds when Shoto Todoroki is promoted to the number two hero, prompting the former members of Class 1-A to gather for a celebratory reunion. Among the attendees is Izuku Midoriya, known as Deku, who continues his work as a hero using the powerful suit gifted to him by his friends after the final battle. Katsuki Bakugo, now showing a more mature and supportive side, subtly invites Deku to join his hero agency. Meanwhile, Ochaco Uraraka has been troubled by recurring dreams of the late villain Himiko Toga, leading her to wonder if there is a lingering spiritual connection or simply unresolved feelings from her past.

Throughout the evening, both Deku and Ochaco come to realize that while they have achieved their goals of becoming heroes, something personal has been missing from their lives. Encouraged by advice from Bakugo and a final, reassuring vision of Toga who urges Ochaco to live and love for herself, the two finally acknowledge the romantic feelings they have harbored for one another since their school days. Deku confesses that he wants to spend more time with her, and Ochaco agrees, bringing their long-simmering relationship to a heartfelt resolution. This special episode, titled More to reflect both the continuation of the story and the extra time the characters choose to make for one another, closes the book on the anime series by showing its heroes finally finding personal happiness alongside their professional success.
