A shy boy named Kanade encounters Latair, a fairy of the Earth who springs from a mysterious pendant. Using Latair’s magic, Kanade transforms into various creatures and travels across global ecosystems, from oceans and rainforests to savannas. In each new form, he befriends the animals he meets, but he soon discovers that these creatures are endangered species facing real threats to their survival.

The five-episode short series follows Kanade as he learns about the challenges different animals face and the importance of biodiversity. In one episode, he becomes an Arabian oryx trekking across a vast desert in search of water. In another, he transforms into a quetzal, experiencing the cycle of life in the forest and learning the value of gratitude as the bird disperses seeds. A later adventure turns him into a laid-back Napoleon fish, where he discovers the importance of living freely in the ocean. Each journey teaches Kanade lessons about nature and the connections between all living things. Moved by a desire to protect his new animal friends, he decides to become an Earth Saver and take action.

The series blends fantasy adventure with environmental education, featuring supervision by WWF Japan to ensure accurate depictions of wildlife and ecosystems. At the end of each episode, an educational corner provides photographs and facts about the featured endangered species.
