In the theatrical film Eiga Meitantei Precure!, the young detectives of the CUREtto Detective Agency face their greatest mystery yet. The story follows middle school student Anna Akechi, who travels from the year 2027 back to 1999 with the help of her fairy partner Pochitan. In the past, she meets Mikuru Kobayashi, a girl who aspires to become a famous detective, and together they transform into Cure Answer and Cure Mystic to combat the Phantom Thieves, mysterious criminals who steal precious objects and threaten to cover the world in lies.

Set to open in Japanese theaters on September 18, 2026, the film expands upon the television series' unique time-travel premise.
