Description
Ivan Karelin, known by his hero alias Origami Cyclone, is a character who embodies the struggle between self-doubt and the desire to do good. A hero employed by Helperidese Finance, his outward persona as a flamboyant, kabuki-themed ninja stands in stark contrast to his true, reserved nature. At a young age, Ivan is already a veteran in the sense of being a graduate of the Hero Academy, yet he constantly battles a deep-seated lack of confidence.
Standing at 170 centimeters tall, Ivan possesses a youthful appearance that belies his status as an upperclassman to some of his peers. His entire identity is heavily influenced by a profound fascination with Japanese culture, specifically the imagery and perceived honor of ninjas and samurai, which is reflected in his weaponry and his hero costume. However, his enthusiasm for this aesthetic does little to mask his core personality; outside of the spotlight, Ivan is shy, insecure, and carries a significant emotional burden.
The root of Ivan's insecurity lies in his NEXT ability, known as Shapeshifting or Mimicry. This power allows him to perfectly copy the appearance and voice of any person or object he touches, but it does not grant him the abilities of those he mimics.
