Description
Elsie Crimson, born Princess Elsie Le Lendard of the planet Lendard in the Kaede Cosmos, was bound in childhood to Prince James Holloway through a political union designed to merge their kingdoms. Unbeknownst to James, the alliance served her parents’ covert agenda to exploit his realm’s resources for weapon development. Disillusioned by her family’s warmongering, Elsie sabotaged their plans by leaking classified intel—a decision that inadvertently plunged her homeland into civil war, reduced it to ruins, and forced her into exile.

Rescued by Ziggy’s Edens Zero crew during her displacement, she formed close bonds with the team, including the infant Shiki Granbell, whom she nurtured. Tasked by Ziggy to safeguard the Edens Zero until Shiki’s adulthood, Elsie struggled with the ship’s advanced systems and dwindling supplies, eventually turning to piracy for survival. Adopting the moniker “Armored Space Pirate,” she rose to command the Skull Fairy and secured a spot among the Oración Seis Galáctica, an elite cadre feared for their capacity to annihilate planets.

Her Ether Gear, Star Drain, allows her to siphon planetary Ether energy, forging adaptive combat gear like the spear Antares, an Ether katana, or environmental armor. This power enhances her strength, projects energy blasts such as Grand Chariot, and enables rapid movement via Meteor, though her reliance on Ether leaves her vulnerable to EMPs and physical restraints.

Elsie’s fraught history with Justice, her ex-fiancé turned rival, simmers with unresolved tension rooted in the civil war’s fallout. Despite their clashes, lingering emotional ties complicate their enmity. Her loyalty to Ziggy endures even as she mourns his transformation into a tyrant opposing Shiki and the Edens Zero.

As captain, Elsie blends roguish charm with unyielding authority, fostering camaraderie while demanding discipline. She champions the creed that “time together creates family,” valuing bonds forged in adversity. This ethos clashes with her guilt over past tragedies—including her role in the war and loved ones’ deaths—which she views as a personal curse. Alternate timelines reveal darker paths, such as her suicide after grappling with the repercussions of her choices.

Intertwined with Shiki’s destiny, she honors Ziggy’s request by delivering the Edens Zero and later aiding its crew against threats like his corrupted former mentor. Though branded a morally gray figure, Elsie consistently sides with cosmic preservation, embodying an anti-heroine torn between redemption and survival.
