Leo Jinno is a supporting character in the anime Burst Angel. He is a middle-aged mechanic with a gruff demeanor and a strong passion for his work. He built and maintains the mecha known as Django, and he becomes particularly irritated when the main protagonist Jo pushes the machine too hard during battles or when the character Meg interrupts him while he is working. Despite his often brusque attitude, Leo is friendly to the rest of the team and was recruited by the team leader Sei, much like the youngest member Amy. Though generally responsible, Leo occasionally struggles with childish impulses, such as recklessly driving a go-kart off the raceway during a resort trip. His primary role within the group is as a mechanic and support figure, but he is also capable in combat and has wielded a pair of sub-machine guns in dangerous situations. He does not undergo major character development over the course of the series but remains a reliable and gruff technical backbone for the team.
