ONA
Description
Geo Noto Soto is the high priest of the kingdom of Metallicana and the father of Tia Noto Yoko. A tall, middle-aged man, he has brown eyes, short brown hair that forms a widow's peak, and a thick walrus-style mustache. His typical attire consists of a white, ankle-length robe with grey trim on the sleeves and high collar, secured by a large black belt, worn over black pants and dark brown boots.

Fifteen years before the main events of Bastard!!, Geo was one of the five heroes of Metallicana who defeated the dark wizard Dark Schneider. During the siege of Metallicana by the Dark Rebel Army, Prince Lars Ul Metallicana managed to defeat Dark Schneider in battle. Afterward, Geo used his clerical magic to seal Dark Schneider's soul into the body of an orphaned infant, preventing the wizard's resurrection. Geo adopted this child, naming him Lucien Renlen, and raised him alongside his own daughter, Yoko. It was also Geo who instructed Yoko that her virginity was necessary to help control or awaken Dark Schneider when the time came. At some point, Geo's wife, Shirin Tempest, died from unknown causes.

A man of strong faith, Geo is a devoted worshiper of the goddess Ino Mata. He is a powerful cleric capable of casting magic drawn from his patron deity, but he is also a warrior monk, or martial artist, whose physical strength is said to match that of a Kensei, a master legendary swordsman. His endurance is described as limitless, and he can battle most opponents with his bare hands even without his magical abilities.

His primary motivation is the protection of Metallicana and its people, which drives his actions throughout the story. When the Dark Rebel Army attacks Metallicana again, this time intending to resurrect the god of destruction Anthrasax, Geo makes the momentous decision to authorize Yoko to awaken Dark Schneider from within Lucien's body, believing the kingdom has no other hope for survival. This decision strains his relationship with Dark Schneider, who resents Geo for having sealed him away in the first place and initially seeks revenge against the priest.

Geo plays a crucial role in the story's backstory and continues to appear as a significant supporting figure. He demonstrates his abilities early on when Dark Schneider attempts to attack him. Geo successfully defends himself against Dark Schneider's Balvolt spell using a powerful anti-magic barrier known as Stryper, forcing the wizard to reconsider engaging him in hand-to-hand combat because of Geo's skill as a monk. Later, after the explosion of Castle Metallicana caused by the death of the Dark Priest Abigail, Geo is initially believed to be dead. However, he later reappears alive, having allied himself with the Ten Wise Men of Europa and joining rebel forces to attack the Kingdom of Judas and fight against Kall-Su's faction. He is subsequently seen on the flying city of King Crimson Glory alongside Sean Ari and Baba, where they discuss the appearance of the Dragon Knight's golden nebula as a sign of Dark Schneider's restored soul. After a four-year time skip, Geo is part of a multi-racial coalition gathered to lift the seal on the moon and stop Satan's Negative Genesis plan, maintaining his role as a strategic and spiritual figure in the conflict against apocalyptic threats.

Among Geo's notable abilities, his defensive magic is particularly formidable. His Stryper barrier spell is powerful enough to withstand attacks from beings as strong as Dark Schneider and can protect an entire city. He also knows the Anti-Death Spell, used to subdue undead creatures. In physical combat, he is a master of the Holy Steel Fist, an unarmed martial art. While he typically fights unarmed, he has also been seen wielding a flail, and during his later appearances on King Crimson Glory, he wears a set of armor.
