Description
Lulu Obsidian is a character from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V who originates from Heartland City in the Xyz Dimension. She is the younger sister of Shay Obsidian and a close friend of Yuto. She is also a reincarnation of Ray Akaba and one of four dimensional counterparts, the others being Zuzu Boyle from the Standard Dimension, Celina from the Fusion Dimension, and Rin from the Synchro Dimension. Lulu attended the Spade Branch of Heartland Duel School, which trained professional duelists. After the invasion of the Xyz Dimension by Duel Academy, which is the military force of the Fusion Dimension, Lulu and other survivors formed the Resistance to fight back. However, she was eventually captured by Yuri, a student from Duel Academy, and taken to the Fusion Dimension. During her time under the influence of a Parasite Monster, Lulu's personality temporarily became ruthless, harsh, and sadistic, causing her to take pleasure in inflicting pain on others, which was seen in her duels against Shay and Yuya or Yuto.

In terms of personality, Lulu was initially a cheerful and kind-hearted citizen of Heartland. The trauma of the invasion forced her to develop resilience and bravery beyond her years. She is deeply loyal to her brother and her friend Yuto, and her motivations are driven by a desire to protect those she cares about and to resist the oppression of Duel Academy. Her role in the story is central to the conflict between dimensions, as she is one of the four bracelet girls whose combined power is tied to the fate of the multiverse and the restoration of Ray Akaba. Throughout the series, Lulu's development involves her struggle to regain her true self after being controlled and her eventual reunion with her allies. As a duelist, Lulu specializes in using a Lyrilusc deck, which focuses on swarming the field with low-Level Winged Beast monsters and performing Xyz Summons to bring out powerful Rank 1 monsters such as Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale. Her dueling abilities reflect her agility and tactical thinking in combat.
