Laurine Betz is a German voice actress and stage actress born in 1986 in the Black Forest region and raised near Hanover, Germany. After spending a year abroad in Spain, she moved to Berlin in 2006 to study acting at the Europäischen Theaterinstitut Berlin, completing her studies in 2010. Her performance career began on stage, with early roles at prestigious venues like the Schillertheater Berlin and numerous touring theatre engagements, where she frequently portrayed classic characters such as Pippi Longstocking, Julia, and Emilia Galotti. She began working as a voice actor in 2009, and by 2017 had already lent her voice to over 160 roles in films and television series.

Betz has become a prominent and versatile voice in the German dubbing industry for anime, providing the German voice for a wide array of characters. She is the German voice of the robot boy Reg in the critically acclaimed Made in Abyss franchise, including the television series and the film Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul. She voices the character Ann in the cyberpunk series No Guns Life and Nao Kaizaki in Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan. In fantasy and action series, her roles include Misa Saotome in Val x Love, Kahabel in I'm Standing on 1,000,000 Lives, and the warrior Kirisame in Dr. Stone: New World. She is also known for voicing Ayano Iida in The Pet Girl of Sakurasou and Leysritt in the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya series. In romantic comedy and harem genres, she is the voice of the alien assassin Yami-chan (Golden Darkness) across the various To Love Ru series, including Motto To Love Ru, and portrays Lisara Restor in So I Can't Play H. Beyond the roles listed, her extensive anime filmography includes voicing Jeanne d'Arc in Drifters, Dia Kurosawa in Love Live Sunshine, Hyouka Fuwa in SHIMONETA, and Seiko Kimura in Danganronpa 3.
