Description
Nanako Usami is the main protagonist of the anime Locodol. She is a fifteen-year-old first-year student at Nagarekawa High School who becomes a local idol, or locodol, after being recruited by her uncle, Mitsugu Oota. She initially agrees to the job as a way to earn money to buy a new swimsuit, but she grows to take her role seriously. Nanako has shoulder-length brown hair with bangs falling on the right side and purple eyes, stands 158 centimeters tall, and is left-handed.
Her personality is characterized by a mix of timidity and level-headed practicality. She is prone to nervousness, especially when performing or speaking on stage, which often causes her to stutter and accidentally mispronounce her own name as Nanyako.
