ONA
Description
In the narrative of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal, Jadeite is the first of the Four Heavenly Kings, known as the Shitennou, to be sent on a mission by the Dark Kingdom. His appearance is characterized by short pale blonde hair and grey eyes, and he typically wears a dark grey uniform with blue outlining, black boots, and a black belt. His name is derived from the mineral jadeite, and he carries the title of the Knight of Patience and Harmony from his previous life.

Before his corruption, Jadeite was one of four loyal knights who served Prince Endymion, the ruler of Earth, during the age of the Silver Millennium. In this past life, he shared a deep, unspoken connection with Sailor Mars, the guardian of fire and passion. However, in the present era, he and the other Shitennou were reincarnated but intercepted by Queen Beryl. She placed them under a powerful spell, erasing their memories and turning them into her loyal generals for the Dark Kingdom. Under this control, Jadeite is a devoted and capable operative, focused on his objectives without the internal conflict that sometimes plagues his comrades.

His primary motivation is to serve his ruler, Queen Beryl, and their master, the entity known as Queen Metalia. He is initially driven to accomplish two main tasks: gathering human life energy to restore Metalia to power and locating the legendary Silver Crystal, a powerful artifact that would allow the Dark Kingdom to conquer the world. He approaches his duties with a sense of discipline and is frequently seen monitoring his minions' progress through a crystal ball. His role in the story is that of an initial formidable antagonist. He is the first major general the Sailor Guardians face, forcing the awakening of Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, and eventually Sailor Mars as they work to thwart his various schemes.

One of his key relationships is with his master, Tuxedo Mask, who is the reincarnated Prince Endymion. Unaware of their true history, Jadeite and his fellow generals find themselves puzzled by a strange sense of familiarity when they encounter Endymion. More personally, Jadeite shares a unique bond with Rei Hino, Sailor Mars. Even under Queen Beryl's mind control, he feels an unexplained attraction to her, commenting that she is beautiful and that he is drawn to her despite their first meeting. This connection hints at the past life he cannot remember.

Jadeite undergoes significant development as the series progresses. While initially a standard villain, he begins to experience flashbacks when Queen Metalia's influence is challenged. A crystal glows on his forehead, and he recalls his true past as a knight who laid down his life to protect Endymion. He and the other Shitennou start to break free from their brainwashing. However, when they reject the power of darkness and remember their true loyalty to their prince, Queen Metalia destroys their physical bodies. In their final act of redemption, their spirits, transformed into four colored stones, enter Tuxedo Mask's heart. They later take a fatal blow from a sacred sword for him, giving their lives to save their master just as they promised in the past. Their spirits continue to exist within the stones, offering him advice, guidance, and wisdom throughout the rest of the story.

In terms of notable abilities, Jadeite is a versatile and powerful fighter. He possesses the power of teleportation, allowing him to travel over long distances instantly. One of his signature skills is generating powerful cryokinetic blasts that can freeze targets, including the Sailor Guardians, in solid ice. He is also capable of creating minions, known as youma, from clay, which he then commands to carry out his energy-gathering operations.
