Alfredo Gabriel Basurto Contreras, born on December 11, 1977, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, is a prominent Mexican voice actor and dubbing director with a career spanning over two decades. He began his professional career on January 15, 1998, with much of his early work taking place at the Audiomaster 3000 studio. His first leading role in a series was as Leo Corbett, the Red Galaxy Ranger, in Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy. Prior to his voice acting career, Basurto studied graphic design at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, but he also pursued specialized training in acting, diction, phonetics, and narration to focus his professional path.

Basurto is widely recognized for his extensive work in anime dubbing for the Latin American Spanish market. He is known for his portrayal of Sesshomaru in Inuyasha and its sequel, Inuyasha: The Final Act, a role he considers his most iconic. He also voices Levi Ackerman in Attack on Titan, Ban in The Seven Deadly Sins, and was the first voice of Roronoa Zoro in One Piece. His other significant anime roles include Akitaru Ōbi in Fire Force, Ryūga in Legends of the Dark King: A Fist of the North Star Story, and he has voiced characters such as Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen and Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Beyond anime, his versatility extends to animated series and films, where he is the voice of Po in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness and Bumblebee in the Transformers franchise.

In addition to character voices, Basurto has a substantial career as a commercial and institutional narrator. He is the official voice for brands such as Nescafé and Quaker State, and has previously been the voice for Cablevisión and Izzi Telecom in Mexico.
