Description
Masataka Kiyomizu, known as Kiyomasa, is a middle school student and gang leader from Shibuya Third Middle School. He possesses a tall, muscular build for his age, standing 182 cm (6'0") and weighing roughly 74 kg. His appearance features a distinctive scar on his left eyebrow and another on his lip, paired with black hair styled in a small pompadour. He typically wears his school uniform—a white polo shirt, gray pants, and black loafers—and is frequently shown smoking cigarettes.
Kiyomasa exhibits a merciless, cruel, and domineering personality. He revels in brutalizing those he perceives as weaker, using violence and intimidation to assert control. His methods involve running underground fight clubs, forcing subordinates like Takemichi Hanagaki and his friends (the "Mocho Five") into violent matches for gambling profits. He displays distinct cowardice when confronted by stronger individuals like Manjiro Sano (Mikey) or Ken Ryuguji (Draken), refusing to bow despite gang customs and trembling in fear during direct encounters. His vengeful nature leads him to collaborate with rivals to settle grudges, including orchestrating a near-fatal ambush on Draken.
Initially a low-ranking member of the Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman), Kiyomasa exploited the gang's name to legitimize his unauthorized fight rings. After Takemichi attempted to meet Mikey, Kiyomasa violently beat him with a metal bat, forbidding mention of Mikey's name—hinting at his resentment toward Toman's leadership. Discovery of his illegal operations by Mikey and Draken resulted in his exile from Toman for disgracing the gang's ideals.
Following his exile, Kiyomasa formed his own gang and allied with Moebius and Valhalla during the "8-3 Conflict" (August 3rd). At the Musashi Festival, he stabbed Draken from behind while Draken was injured, seeking revenge for his prior humiliation. Later, he captured Takemichi, beat him, and bound him with duct tape. After Takemichi freed himself, Kiyomasa confronted him with a knife, rejecting a fair fight by declaring, "This is an execution." Though he stabbed Takemichi's arm, Takemichi overpowered him by choking him unconscious. This defeat led to his abandonment by followers and likely arrest by police, followed by Toman's official expulsion.
Years later, Kiyomasa abandons gang life and becomes a bartender at a low-tier establishment, no longer engaged in delinquency, though his imposing physique remains.
Kiyomasa's fighting style relies on brute strength, intimidation, and weapons like bats or knives. He avoids fair combat, preferring ambushes or group attacks against weaker opponents. His notable skill lies in organizing illegal fight rings, though he lacks the martial prowess of elite gang members.
