Kotaro Takamiya is the older brother of the protagonist Teppei Takamiya. He was born and raised on Kamui Island, living with his brother and uncle after the early death of their parents. He later traveled to Germany to study robotics and artificial intelligence, eventually becoming a world‑renowned engineer specializing in robotic biology.
