Kevin M. Connolly is an American voice actor, ADR director, and script writer known for his extensive work in English dubs of anime series and video games. Born in 1974, he is a classically trained actor who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of California, Los Angeles. His career in anime dubbing began in the early 2000s, with his first major role being Harley Hartwell in the Funimation dub of Case Closed. Over the years, he has provided voices for numerous productions across various studios, including ADV Films, Bang Zoom! Entertainment, and Illumitoon Entertainment, and is based in Los Angeles, California.
Connolly has portrayed a wide array of characters across different genres. Among his notable roles are Takayuki Narumi, the lead protagonist in the romantic drama series Rumbling Hearts; Motoki Haruna, a skilled pitcher in the sports anime Big Windup!; and Kain Fuery, a supporting character in the popular series Fullmetal Alchemist. He also voiced the guild master Heathcliff in the first season of Sword Art Online. In the Gundam franchise, he is recognized for the role of Tonoi in Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE.
