Description
Kota Takamura’s quiet and orderly life is disrupted when his father remarries, introducing a new stepsister, Aika, into his home. From their first encounter, Aika reveals herself to be a brash and trend-obsessed gyaru who speaks her mind without a filter, a stark contrast to Kota’s reserved and responsible nature. While Aika plays the role of the perfect, polite daughter in front of her parents, the moment they are away, her behavior becomes openly chaotic. She brings boys into her room, speaks to Kota with disdain, and turns the household upside down with her free-spirited antics, making them the worst of siblings.
Despite their constant clashing, a subtle shift occurs when Kota witnesses a vulnerable side to Aika that she hides from everyone else. Following a tense incident where Kota intervenes during an uncomfortable encounter with one of her male friends, Aika begins to seek physical closeness with him, demanding embraces and initiating intimate contact. This marks the beginning of a complicated physical relationship as they navigate the blurred lines between sibling animosity and romantic attraction.
The series follows the progression of this forbidden bond through a series of charged situations. A family vacation to Atami sees the tension between them reach new heights when Aika, dressed in a yukata, catches Kota off guard. Later episodes delve deeper into Aika’s emotional scars, revealing a deep-seated fear of being alone and a past trauma that explains her desperate need for security. As their intimacy grows, Kota struggles to maintain his moral boundaries, attempting to set limits on their physical relationship even as Aika becomes determined to break down his resistance. The narrative explores whether Kota’s strict, caring nature can provide the stability Aika craves, even as their relationship exists in a morally ambiguous space.
