Mokkun is a central character in the Heian-era fantasy story Shonen Onmyouji. At first glance, he appears as a small, fox-like creature often seen riding on the shoulder of the protagonist, Abe no Masahiro. However, this form is a deliberate disguise. Mokkun is actually Touda, also known as the Fire General, one of the Twelve Shinsho—elite divine shikigami who once served the legendary onmyouji Abe no Seimei.
