Description
Satone Shichimiya was Yuta Togashi's middle school classmate. Her elaborate chuunibyou persona, "Sophia Ring SP Saturn VII" or "The Magical Devil Girl," directly inspired Yuta's adoption of the "Dark Flame Master" identity. She dubbed Yuta "Yuusha" (Hero), considering him her sole true friend. Their close partnership featured shared chuunibyou exploits, including imaginative riverside scenarios and confronting perceived threats like barking dogs. Shichimiya abruptly transferred schools during their second year without informing Yuta, leaving their bond unresolved.

Shichimiya possesses pink hair styled in pigtails and blue-green eyes. Her distinctive attire features a red jumper skirt, long black knee socks, and a notably long dark blue scarf extending to her ankles. A recurring element is a pink heart-shaped sticker on her left cheek, originally placed on her right cheek during middle school flashbacks. Yuta created and gave her this sticker during their time together, symbolizing their past connection.

Her personality is playful and mischievous, often marked by a signature laugh ("Niii-hahahaha"). She maintains physical closeness with Yuta, including frequent hugs, inadvertently provoking jealousy in Rikka Takanashi. Despite her outwardly childish demeanor, she displays maturity by offering guidance, particularly relationship advice. After transferring schools, she befriended Shinka Nibutani (then known by her chuunibyou alias "Mori Summer"), bonding over shared delusional roleplay during breaks. They later separated upon entering different high schools.

Shichimiya developed romantic feelings for Yuta in middle school but suppressed them to preserve her "Magical Devil Girl" persona, believing acknowledging love would diminish her magic. This conflict intensified upon reuniting with Yuta in high school after moving into the apartment above his. When Rikka perceived her as a threat, Shichimiya attempted to dismiss her resurfaced emotions out of respect for their relationship. Urged by Rikka and friends, she confronted these feelings directly. She challenged Yuta to explain his devotion to Rikka, triggering a symbolic battle against his manifested "Dark Flame Dragon" persona. This confrontation allowed her to process her lingering affection and achieve emotional closure, though Yuta formally rejected her twice.

Following her rejection, Shichimiya maintained amicable ties with both Yuta and Rikka. She transitioned into a supportive role, occasionally offering Rikka personal counsel. Her character arc concluded with her choosing to retain her chuunibyou identity not as an emotional shield, but as a genuine expression of self, signifying acceptance of her past and present.
