Description
Fio is a seventeen-year-old girl who works as a seaplane mechanic and designer. She is the granddaughter of an old friend of Porco Rosso, a man named Mr. Piccolo who runs an aircraft repair company in Milan. Due to the economic hardships of the Great Depression, the company's male workers have left to find employment elsewhere, leaving Fio to take on a much larger role in the family business.
