Description
Nonko Arahabaki, originally Nonko Yoinozaka, is a 24-year-old oni descended from the powerful Yoinozaka family, one of Japan's Three Big Families in the supernatural world. Born with mixed blood, her exceptional strength secured her adoption into the Yoinozaka main household. Her early life involved rigorous work as a monster hunter for the family until her burgeoning power prompted her father, Yoinozaka Jounosuke, to order her assassination. Tenko Genryusai rescued her, directing her to Yuragi Inn to alter a future where Kogarashi Fuyuzora would die. After recovering, she distanced herself from her family, adopted the surname Arahabaki, and became a mangaka residing at Yuragi Inn.

She stands 170 cm tall, possessing distinctive pink hair, green eyes, and a forehead mark where her oni horn manifests. Her human form features a voluptuous figure. Transforming shifts her skin, hair, and eye colors, and a horn grows from her forehead mark. At peak power, she dons dark, intricate spiritual armor covering her shoulders, arms, legs, chest, and hips. Nonko balances a carefree, hedonistic demeanor—often seen drinking—with intense dedication to manga deadlines and combat. She guards personal secrets closely, including past traumas involving Tenko Genryusai and concealed vulnerabilities about her right arm, essential for her art.

Her Yoinozaka heritage grants the ability to convert consumed food and alcohol into spiritual energy, preventing weight gain while amplifying strength. Power scales with alcohol intake: minor consumption enhances physical traits, while 1000 liters activates her spiritual armor, drastically boosting durability and combat prowess. Key techniques include firing energy beams ("Oni Beam") from her horn, summoning homing energy orbs ("Will-O-Wisp"), and using "Reverse Spirit Armor" to immobilize opponents. Weaknesses include reduced potency without alcohol, exhaustion post-battle, and an instinctive overprotection of her right arm during fights.

At Yuragi Inn, relationships are multifaceted. She considers Yunohana Yuuna family and actively defends her from threats. With Ameno Sagiri, Nonko demonstrated loyalty by rescuing her from supernatural dangers and opposing the Yoinozaka family during Sagiri's forced engagement. She playfully teases Kogarashi Fuyuzora, using him as a manga assistant and subjecting him to erotic scenarios without romantic interest. Nonko deeply respects caretaker Nakai Chitose and shares a professional bond with her editor, Harashima Rui, whose support she values intensely. Ties to the Yoinozaka family remain strained due to past betrayal, showing indifference toward her father and brother, Yoinozaka Shakuhito.

Her development involves reconciling her past with her present identity. She confronts her family during arcs like Sagiri's Engagement, apologizing for their actions. Her combat role is pivotal in battles against Makyouin Ouga—forcing the legendary warrior to 90% capacity—and Mikogami Matora. In the final arc, her father's possession of Kogarashi's body leads to Kogarashi's sacrificial disintegration; Nonko participates in restoring his spirit through collective effort. Her growth culminates in embracing Yuragi Inn as her true home, symbolizing a break from her traumatic lineage.

She appears in the video games "Yuragi-sō no Yūna-san: Yukemuri Meikyū" (2018) and "Yuragi-sō no Yūna-san: Dororon Onsen Daikikō" (2019).
